GE refrigeration runs an inverter compressor platform with a known early-2010s issue.
GE Profile, Cafe, and base-line refrigerators run the WR06X10000 inverter compressor across French-door GFE, GNE, and side-by-side GSS chassis. The early-2010s production runs of that inverter compressor have a documented reliability issue, and a board-level diagnosis is required before any compressor swap to identify whether the failure is the inverter board or the compressor itself. We are an independent fridge-only shop and we service GE every week.

You get a written quote before any work begins, with parts and labor under a 3-month warranty (6 to 12 months on compressor and sealed-system work).
