Viking Pro-Style is a commercial-grade chassis in a residential kitchen. The repair reflects that.

Viking Pro-Style built-ins like the VCBB and VCSB run heavier compressors, larger condenser coils, and the UltraQuiet III icemaker board that does not behave like a standard residential ice unit. The cabinet sits flush, so service starts with careful access work — pulling a 48-inch VCBB forward without scarring the cabinet face takes time before the diagnosis even begins. We are an independent fridge-only shop, founded 2017, and we service Viking every week.

  • Compressor relay and start-device failures on VCBB and VCSB Pro-Style. The compressor clicks but does not run, the cabinet warms over a 24-hour window, and the relay often shorts before the compressor itself.

Visit starts with a $65 in-home diagnosis, waived if you authorize the repair. We arrive with OEM parts on the truck for the common Viking failures — compressor relays, condenser fans, evaporator fans, dispenser solenoids, icemaker boards. You get a written quote before any work begins, with parts and labor under a 3-month warranty (6 to 12 months on compressor and sealed-system work).
