Amana ART, ASD, and ABB chassis are built on the Whirlpool platform, which means the failure patterns track closely with what we see on Whirlpool WRT top-freezer and WRX side-by-side. Most of the Amanas we open up sit in rental units, starter kitchens, and apartment second-fridges — the cost-of-repair vs. cost-of-replace question is real on units past year 10, and we will give you the honest answer up front. We are an independent fridge-only shop and we service Amana every week.

We arrive with OEM parts on the truck for the common Amana failures — compressor relays, defrost heaters, control boards, ice-maker assemblies, water-inlet valves. If your Amana is past the point where repair makes financial sense, we will tell you that on the visit, before any parts get ordered. Parts and labor under a 3-month warranty (6 to 12 months on compressor and sealed-system work).
